Amongst my small but somewhat eclectic silver collection I have a vinaigrette (3cm x 2cm x 1cm) with full London hallmarks. The date letter could be for 1789 / 1809 / or 1829.... but which ? The maker's mark is a badly struck WE, with no stops, within a rectangle with cut corners, and could be for ...

Thanks for the advice and guidance. I think that, after several hours, I have managed to navigate and come to grips with the Tinypics site, and hopefully have now got two images to go with my original text. Not bad for someone from "the wrong generation".
