Please Help identidy Hallmark on Jar

I was told this piece is late 18th or early 19th Century German Silver. Can anyone help me verify this is true or not ? Anyone know the Maker ?

Only a guess but maybe a Potpourri Bowl and possibly missing a lid from the center ?

Sterling Platter - Need Help with Maker's mark

Does anyone recognise this mark ? I can not find anything starting with Brogg. I thought it was F B Rogers, but there is 2 G's, so that can't be it.

The item is a large Platter Tray measuring 30 inches long.
