Is there any value to keep old storage boxes for silverware? I have four storage boxes which appear to have been made of wood covered with a veneer that looks like fake leather. The satin interiors are stained and dirty, and the veneer on the boxes is coming off.

We recently inhered a set of silverware (.800 Swiss maker Jezler, Baguette pattern). The Jezler coat of arms and the "0.800" are together in one stamp, which I read probably indicates pre-1930's.
