.800 Tea Set, Lone Pictoral Mark, Looks Like A Vase or Teapot w/ An M?

https://imgur.com/a/BMoHbqI https://imgur.com/a/BMoHbqI I need help identifying this mark found on an .800 tea set. Thought it was German but since I found this mark hidden inside a lid today I'm not sure. There are five pieces but this seems to be the only one of these marks on the set. Other piec...

It does look similar to a John Wanamaker tray I found for sale on eBay.

Victorian era? silver plated tray. High quality but no marks.

Not sure if the marks were polished off over time or if it lacked them to begin with. It appears to be very well made and is quite ornate with raised grape embellishments. This tray belongs to an old woman who is a neighbor of mine. It's monogrammed with her family members initials. She is probably ...

Oh I guess the horse is facing the opposite direction it is in the other Moscow 1896 pieces I’m seeing. Is that it? What would that point to?
Qrt.S wrote:Hmmmm! Isn't the town mark for Moscow a bit strange being from 1896? Anyway, the maker's mark is БЧ. Cannot identify him, sorry.

Hmm what are you thinking? What’s strange?

Oh yeh and do these marks indicate it’s silver? .960, .875,..?

It is Moscow 1896.
Maker^s mark is on the left, but not clean and too dark to decipher, particularly the first letter is important. The second looks like Ч (Cyrillic).

Plz help identify this mark on a Jewish? Goblet. Russian? Israel?

I bought this goblet the other day. It was sold to me as being.925 from a Jewish. The seller "acquired a Jewish estate". The seller (online) didn't even notice it was marked. I bought it not knowing if it was indeed silver or just plated and hoped for the best as I thought it was interesti...

Re: Salt cellar from Africa or Asia??? Or???

Thanks so much for your reply. I think you may be on to something. Its the first good lead I have had. I found some plates with a similar theme on eBay but the seller did not share any info about their source. They were just a pawn shop or estate sale dealer or something. Using your tips I did find ...

I don't see it on replacements, I assume that is what you were referencing. Can you link if you found it please. You are probably right about the initials being used because of the small size of the forks. Thanks for the reply! It does look like Frank Whiting and the pattern is listed as "unide...

Re: Help with makers mark on dessert forks retailed by Shreve Crump & Low Co.

While it is very similar to this one it is clearly different. If you see this exact mark anywhere can you please guide me there. I assume it is a variation on the Whiting mark but I have yet to see it. The W mark is identified as Frank M. Whiting Co on the American Silver Marks by initials on this s...

Help identify this Reed & Barton makers mark on a beautiful Hummingbird/Owl/Crane/Butterfly/Flower motif bride's basket

I found some really interesting ones but in my opinion mine is the best looking one out there. The whole ...

AH! That explains why I cannot find that option. I wonder why there is no built in edit option? Thanks for the heads up.

Help with makers mark on dessert forks retailed by Shreve Crump & Low Co.

I cannot find out who used this W mark. It looks similar to one of Frank Whiting's marks but it is definitely not the same. The seller said they were British but the lack of Hallmarks seems to disprove that. They have a Shreve Crump & Low Co mark on them. I assume SCL was only the retailer and n...

Not sure on makers mark but is this marked as being 14k or are you just assuming it is 14k?
