The left mark looks runied but due to the shape of the hallmark and you may see or not maybe 56 inside? help needed.

I know - a polish friend of mine suggested me that 583 on polish hallmark pattern usually indicated of gold import from soviet union.

I know the polish hallmarks with the head facing right / left and eras BUT this one is with "583" - and not the "3" with the head warrior as most polish hallmarks are.

This is a german ring made by "Gebrüder Weidner of Schwabach" GWS as hallmarked.
They have few hallmark designed - this one is a very primate or early one.

Wanted to know if anyon can help me find out the era of this hallmark.

1. when you write Д is badly damaged or deliberately erased (not uncommon in Soviet Russia). you means that it was hallmarked that there IS a problem with the ring? Are you assuming that it was re-hallmarked in ...

Anyone knows how old is this ring? its 18K 750.
Also has a maker's mark U88 (?)
