Hi all I believe I have a 17th century Enkhuizen spoon. Is anyone able to offer further information about it please? https://i.ibb.co/99m4SZSZ/20250727-150148.jpg https://i.ibb.co/cS9X2PVD/20250727-150306.jpg https://i.ibb.co/gLq1Xy0B/20250727-150310.jpg https://i.ibb.co/GQQygTCM/20250727 ...
I could use some help with these marks please? Maybe UK Scottish provincial silver marks? https://i.ibb.co/23tdxLmZ/20250420-113444.jpg https://i.ibb.co/4wZtKr03/20250420-113450.jpg https://i.ibb.co/gZCL70tJ/20250420-113515.jpg https://i.ibb.co/Zpn49W6J/20250420-113525.jpg Thank you JC
I would like some help placing this spoon. I believe it to be English late 17th century? The engraving looks correct to me. It also has a less than brilliant repair. It has an interesting face motif? Small sized.
I have a makers mark I don't recognise. It doesn't look very well struck but wonder if anyone recognises it please? https://i.ibb.co/wycq0BF/20241231-153914.jpg https://i.ibb.co/44sSYB4/20241230-215839.jpg https://i.ibb.co/25SXpZm/20241230-215846.jpg https://i.ibb ...

I apologise if this is listed in the wrong part of the forum I don't know the mark but assumed maybe colonial? Can anyone help me with the maker and/or place of origin? The spoon is around 9 inches long. https://i.ibb.co/m9HHrKd/Screenshot-20241024-185111-e-Bay.jpg https://i.ibb.co ...
Hello Yes, your spoon appears to be French 18th C. However the marks aren’t giving much info. The first mark you show appears to be the maker, shown upside down. I see a crowned fleur-de-lys with 1 of the 2 grains. The maker’s initials and symbol are illegible to me. The second mark should be the ...
Just wondering if someone familiar with French marks could help with these hallmarks please? I'm assuming 18th century French? Sorry they are not brilliant to see.
Just looking for clarification on the maker of my recent purchase. A silver Trefid spoon marked TF x3. I think it could be Thomas Furlong but I don't have the West Country book to confirm. Thanks all. https://i.ibb.co/b2b9d30/20240920-200048.jpg https://i.ibb.co/Gs5gMbv/20240920-200052.jpg ...
::::: If we could see the construction of the "drop" it might help (the reverse side of the spoon where the bowl is joined to the shaft) because we can compare the drop to other known drops from various countries. :::::::
I think it could have English lineage but I'd happily hear your thoughts on it thank you. Appreciate any help. https://i.ibb.co/8PZDtF1/20230920-161941.jpg https://i.ibb.co/z2mc5SX/20230920-175839.jpg https://i.ibb.co/zZwgWtT/20230920-162031.jpg https://i.ibb.co/XLFH1W1/20230920-162019.jpg
