Mystery spoon maker JP from 1900s
I can't seem to find anything about the maker "JP" in an octagon from 1900s-1910s. The mark appears to be only on spoons, as far as I can tell.
Any ideas?

Re: P. Orr & Sons silver dates marks
Here is the inscription on the presentation bowl. The Karachi Sailing Club was founded 1911/12 and the "students" were student officers (all Captains) in the Indian Army Staff College in Quetta about 650 km to the northeast of Karachi, in what is now Pakistan.

Re: P. Orr & Sons silver dates marks
Thank you Andrew for confirming my suspicions and the historical background! The trophy bowl is my first piece of Orr silver and likely not my last!

P. Orr & Sons silver dates marks
These marks are on an Indian silver cup with an inscription dating to 1912.
I presume the "12" in the shield is some sort of dating record?

Re: Help with India silver maker's mark
I found an identical mark (HB and a lion) on a silver tea caddy inscribed ‘Nadaraja Press, Colombo, Ceylon’ and thought to date from the 1920s.
I can find references to the Nadaraja Press in Colombo from the 1940s to 1970s, so it seems likely that it might be a local Colombo silversmith who also ...

Help with India silver maker's mark
Looks like a cat and letters "H" and "B"? (stamped on the back of the plate).
A cat/lion seems popular on some colonial silver but I can't find this mark.
Thank you.

Could it be a weevil from France?
