Re: identify this hallmark?
When I saw the photo of the spoon I immediately thought of a Piedmontese cutlery, but the hallmarking does not match.
There is however a Savoyard silversmith whose mark is described as
IIF crowned

Re: identify this hallmark?
Thank You very much for your advice👍anikopol wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 4:01 pm Hello,
It does not look like French marks.
Based on the design of the spoon, and the silversmith hallmark form, I would suggest a Belgian or Dutch origin.
Some contributors with better knowledge of Belgian/Dutch silver could confirm/contest my suggestion.

Re: Brooch masks
Hi, I could not find a Dutch or Belgian match. Mark D N with a twig in de middle, in an oval-shaped shield.
Can you clean the 2nd mark and try to make a clear enhanced image of this mark?
Peter.

Re: Dutch silver box
Your welcome. For the record marks for silver-plated items, mark Bonnet(or cardinal's cap), HH with a dot on either side in a hexagon, and 90. This number is a measure of the thickness of the layer of silver applied.
Peter.

Re: Hallmark Lion to identify
As Peter says, it is a silversmith from Zaragoza.
I can contribute that the marker was Mariano Pueyo, his assay period is between 1855-1857.
