Not about items made of semi precious stones.

I'm seeing your point about the box..I did see some wear on the insole but the box indeed seems too good for a 100+ year old item. I guess it's not realistic a wodden box looks like that after that much time, even if kept safely..

The images are authentic, the photographed Faberge(?) items probably not. For example the "Faberge" box looks brand new
The third images shows forgeries of the Faberge mark and the Russian hallmarks. And yes, it is difficult to judge from photos.

So for example items that usually end up purchased for <2-3000 usd on online auction sites like Invaluable or sites like Etsy, and have the I.P. makers mark are very likely to be fake? I can't really link anything here in particular but a quick search will yield plenty of such example.
