egyptian bracelet

if you'll search the forum for other threads on egyptian marks, it appears from some other contributors that the egyptian gov't keeps that information closed. good luck!

egyptian bracelet

see the Main Site - Home Page, World Marks, Egypt.
The first mark shows the city (unreadable) above the purity mark - it appears to be 90% - don't have access to info on the "D", the date mark.

mystery tribal/bedouin pieces - what are they?

Acquired these two matching pieces a few years ago. Would like to know what YOU think they are used for, and where they come from. There are no marks but they have tested positive for low grade silver.

cuff bracelets

It appears to me the first mark is the Tughra marked used in the Ottoman Empire (Turkey pre-1928). Sorry I can't help with the other marks, but I believe you now have a starting point.

persian hallmark? no, it's russian

Hi. I have several brass samovars bought in Iran and they all have similar marks. The writing is Russian, so that would be the place to start.

help with Norwegian mark?

An 830 silver retractable ballpoint pen acquired in Norway in the early 70's. Does anyone recognize this mark? Thank you in advance.

Iranian/Persian Mark on silver box?

I have this box with chased engraving from the 60's or 70's, I believe. It has one tiny stamp of Arabic characters. Can anyone help identify? Thank you!

Help with Persian Hallmark

I have a silver box (tested positive for silver) that I believe comes from Iran. The only mark anywhere is the Lion holding a curved sword. Does anyone recognize this mark?
