This perfume bottle has STERLING SILVER stamped on it and one cartouche that I can't make out.
Viewing the World wide hallmarks, I noted that Australia was known to use this format.
Can anyone help with country or maker.
Overall height is 15cm or 6" and it has a mauve purple guilloche top section ...

Hi Shirley, I can't help with the maker but the map of Australia (State boundaries) as depicted on your pendant was valid from 6th July 1863 to 1st Jan 1911

This tiny little vase has the hallmarks for Birmingham ~ 1901
Maker: W.J.H
This vase is only 3 1/4" or 8.2cm tall and the base is weighted, possibly with lead.
Would it have been for violets?

Hi, I have a cigarette case which clearly marked. Maker Henry Williamson Ltd & the date letter is 1919.
On the Birmingham makers page H.W.L.D is registered 1893~1912
Have I read the hallmark incorrectly or are the registration dates a guide only?
