Re: Please help to identify country of origin
Thank you both for your replies. Yes, it does appear that the band is applied. I too found that the writing consists mostly of Turkish surnames. Perhaps this was a presentation piece as when I looked closer I can make out the date 1952. Thanks again, I appreciate the help. - Angela

Maker's Mark Identification Help
I have another mint julep cup that I think is coin but I'm not sure. Forgive me if this is the wrong area to have posted. I cannot make out the maker's mark. It appears to be Wm H_ _ _ _N. There also is some sort of D mark over stamp. Any thoughts? https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg https://www....

Meriden Britannia?
I have a mint julep cup with a mark that is almost identical to other Meriden Britannia marks that I have seen but it's a little different. The "m" is missing from the top and there are only three interlocking ovals on the bottom. Is this just a variation? If so, does it give indication of...

Thank you Alex for your response. The fourth photo shows an image of a half moon and star which is why I thought it might be Middle Eastern. Any other thoughts?

Any help determining where this vase was made would be greatly appreciated. It is marked 800 on the bottom. There are some markings around the neck that I have included as well. Re: James Kennedy's Maker's Mark
Hello there. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for or if it is correct. I pulled it from the Weldons of Dublin website under their Antique Irish Silver Maker's Mark page. They identified the box as being crafted by James Kennedy in 1793. Sincerely, Angela https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Xim...

Help w/hallmarks please. Coin or English?
Hello. I have a pair of silver tongs that have English looking markings but no city stamp. They feel like coin silver to me but are not marked as such. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Necklace Marked HH 925. Cant't find this HH Mark.
The mark on your necklace looks very much like a worn down John Hardy mark. See the photo below of what his mark usually looks like.
