Hello again,
Although your image is rather small, I think the maker`s initials are ``TM`` of Tomaso Panizza (the goat in the mark).
Take a look here and compare under higher magnification.

Hi, The spoon is champlevé, but difficult to tell which technique was used to create cells (carved or die struck). They might have applied the same die to a sheet of silver and used it for the inside of the tobacco case and then made cells of twisted wire for cloisonné on the outside. Anyway, a supe...

Re: Hi,please help to identify this cup
Hi,
It does look like copper. A925 is manufacturer`s design, inventory or internal factory number of some kind. Just a coincidence with sterling fineness.
Silver plating has completely disappeared, at least what images tell.

Bossard, Johann Karl Born October 11, 1846 in Luzern, died December 17, 1914 in Luzern. The son of silversmith Johann Caspar Balthasar. Having spe...

Hi, In regard of ‚‚raised‚‚ punches. What we see as marks, is actually a mirror image of steel punches. Raised lettering in steel will make impressed lettering in silver and vice versa. Both variants were widely used. I`m just not sure if either variant can be accepted as a rule of thumb to determin...
