Is this a bouquet pin??

This is a Victorian-era, sterling pin with a faceted, amber-colored stone set into the bottom. The little "cup" is open on one end. We are thinking this may have been for a flower or nosegay. Any ideas? Thanks! Silvercrown http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/af99/myisrblu1/45.jpg http://i99...

Are you sure the brooch is Israeli? I can't really see the mark clearly in the photos, but it looks a bit like the mark for Finn Jensen, Oslo, Norway.

Just a guess.

Mark on Sterling Creamer...Is it Durgin?

I have this small, sterling creamer. I have shown the maker's mark below. It is also marked "Sterling" and "T.K.". Is this Durgin? If not, who? Thanks so much. Silvercrown http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/jamielee1/1343.jpg http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/jamielee1/1343-2.jpg http://imgs....

Baker Manchester did a group of flatware in a multi-motif, floral pattern. Perhaps this is one of that set?? Just guessing.

Trev, your eyes are obviously better than mine. I thought the mark was a human head. No wonder I couldn't find it. Am I to assume the mark is not "935", but rather "835"? I appreciate your help.

The best resource I have found for NA marks is the Schiffer book "Hallmarks of the Southwest" by Barton Wright. Like with Mexican silver jewelry, there are many fine NA silversmiths who will probably never be identified. This book has many, many marks, but certainly not all. Because of NA ...
