Re: Can anyone identify?
Hi,
I managed to decipher ``William j.`` and ``London``
I suppose ``London`` indicates British origin, but lacking British set of sterling marks it`s silver plated.
It`s easier for you to identify more words.

Re: 19 C bracelet w/ crown & stag marks, Cyrillic - E. European?
The last letter in the name is eta ``H`` It was pronounced like e in bet in Ancient Greek, but in modern Greek it`s like i in ``bid``. So, the name is EKATERINI.Could be middle name ``A`` but then difficult to tell what comes after that. Cyrillic alphabet developed from Greek, therefore similar lett...

Re: Possible Russian filigree, who and what?
There is difference between Greek letters omicron and upsilon, the latter being open on top. Use magnifying glass (10X) and try to decipher.

Hello again,
Not mirror image, it`s the second kokoshnik, scroll down in the link above.

Hi,
The inscription in niello is Ekaterini, a Greek feminine given name. It could be Greek, Cypriot or made within Greek colonies in Asia Minor (now Turkey).
Will try to decipher the second word, as well as stag mark.

Too much trouble unless it`s intended to deceive a potential buyer. You will always know what it was. Even Vi...

It`s irrelevant; .925 is sterling fineness. Sometimes marked ``925`` and sometimes ``sterling`` added. Even higher fineness ``.935`` was marked ``sterling``.

Re: Strange brooch
Rose cut, few facets.Small, carats not counted even if bigger.Set here for decorative purposes. Otherwise nothing wrong with them. Often seen in old jewelry. How about the mounting of the "diamonds"? Also correct?
