Thanks Trev, Yes they are definitely silver and I am half way trough changing them into a bangle. London Maker CLH Help Please

Hello, I have a plain sugar tong dated 1820 (London) with the Makers mark CLH all merged together please see pics. Does any one know who the maker was and any history is appreciated.

Help Please George Whiting London

Hi I have a fine set of six dining forks made by George Whiting Assayed in London in 1860. I know his sponsor mark was registered in 1858 but cannot find any more information on him does any one know his history please?

Really interesting stuff and as the Town I bought the spoons in: -Umag (Croatia) is very close to the Italian border this makes perfect sense.

Does Anyone know where these hallmarks are from on this lovely silver spoon and who the maker was? Looks like a french minerva mark (Head facing right) but I'm lost on this one?
