Identification help on Sterling Silver Taxco Pillbox

I am having trouble identifying this somewhat illegible hallmark. It is stamped upside down on the pill box when opened and reads:
.ECHD (OR O) EN MEXICO 925. In the centre there is the makers initials which look like a "J" or an "f" followed by an "e" or an "f".
Underneath it reads:
STERLING
TAXCO
Then there is a number 3 with something around it which I can't see properly. Thank you in advance for your help.
If any one knows what the design on the front depicts - a 3 legged man with shield and club? - enlightenment would be much appreciated!!!
