Taxco - Eagle 3 - Crucifix/Pendant -primary hallmark=?

Post by twodestiny9s »

This item was acquired sometime between 1953 & 1962. I've looked through Hougart's "Little Book" without success. I've never seen a Taxco crucifix like this and the hallmark is interesting.

Is anyone familiar with this artisan?

Thanks in advance,
Steven

Although it is difficult to see the first letter, the maker's mark on your piece is the mark that appears to be "PRZ"...unsure of the first letter. The D.F. you see indicates that the piece was assayed and probably made in the "Distrito Federal", which is Mexico City. That's about all I have.
