HI ALL
I have this Mexican silver & gold colored handle, so first what is it? Measures 8 cm tall, 4 cm wide & 3 cm thick.
Hallmarked Sterling Mexico D.925 D. F. & a symbol. So who is the maker?
THANKS

Re: Mexican silver item
Hi Niceguy,
Judging by the length of the screw, it would suggest that something would be sandwiched between the pieces of silver, so perhaps silver embellishments for the handle of a revolver.

Re: Mexican silver item
That's correct appear to be small caliber revolver grips, there were a number of examples on the net. Niceguy if you take to your local gun store, if you live in the US, they would be able to match it with an approximate size of weapon.

Most likely 1960-80s,possibly a 38 cal. And I'm certainly not suggesting you purchase a weapon. I do not own or approve of them myself.
