Can't seem to identify this mark

The mark is a egg shaped circle, in the center is stamped "MEXICO",along the inside top of the circle it is stamped "HAND-MADE", along the inside bottom of circle is stamped "STERLING".
Under the circle stamp there is another circle with a line inside top and bottom and in large letters between the lines are the letters "R.S.S".
Under that stamping is "]925".
The piece is art deco style and I was told it was from the 1930s, but I am doubting that with this mark.
If someone can tell me how to post a pic it would help.
Any info would be helpful!
Thanks

Hi there. I believe RSS are Rafael Ruiz Saucedo initials. He worked with both Antonio Pineda and with William Spratling. You can find more detailed info on him in Bille Hougart's revised edition of his book: "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks".

Best,
Angela

Based on what I've read and just the look of the piece I would guess that it was made in the late 40's early 50's but again, that is just a guess. There is another band that looks very similar to yours posted on another website that claims theirs to be from the 30's. His career lasted some 40 years though so again, it's hard to say.

Wish I could give you a more definitive answer but I am no expert on the subject.
