Israel Zadok Kiddush Mem #13

Post by Traintime »

The exportation fee Mem. mark appears in the frontal image as the pinch on the base rim (no close-up) with #13 as seen in World Marks sample. Maker Zadok mark in base of inner-bowl with Made in Israel over Sterling. Can anyone enlighten on the embellishments of vines, the tree (rear), and the Hebrew lettering (front). Was Zadok the same firm now referred to as Zadok Arts.

Hi Traintime,

Can you retake the mark image in natural daylight? No flash.

Flash? Good one Trev!! Believe it or not, that's mostly reflection from the bright gold color of the walls of the bowl..I've tried to deaden it a bit. And we have no natural light still. Apparently NAFTA allows Canada to export arctic air masses well into spring now and Mr. Trump has not budgeted for a northern wall! Thus, endless clouds.

After re-examining the poor Mem. mark, it actually loupes as an 8 (centered between the walls), not 13. [That took a lot of twisting under differing light sources.]

Added " Zadok Arts" mark on Jerusalem art ball (paperweight or desk ornament). "925" stamp visible right of gate in wall.
