Belatedly, that appears to be the mark of Tu Mao Xing (can also be transliterated Tu Mao Hsing), active in Jiujang Province ca 1880 to 1930.

An article by Adrien von Ferscht states that in the recent past, Tu Mao Xing's name has been incorrectly transcribed as Kan Mao Xing, but evidently no such maker exists. Furthermore, the nonexistent Kan Mao Xing (or Hsing) was credited with the creation of silver objects marked KMS, but in fact, KMS is the mark of a completely different maker. This second maker, Kwong Man Shing, used the mark KMS and was active in both Hong Kong and Canton from about 1880 to 1920.

Regards,
DR
