Unknown Chop Marks on Asian Teapot

Post by neurorocker »

Hi there,

I'm really hoping someone can help me out with these marks. I'm having a hard time figuring this one out.

My Chinese friend translated these marks today. They say, in Japanese, pure silver, Fujimoto made. There is another set of marks that describes the Kyushu retailer under the rim of the lid (not posted).

Better pictures of the marks in case someone comes along who can give a good translation of what I think are Meiji period Japanese marks.
