I recently acquired a silver snuff box with an enameled taj Mahal on the lid. I cannot find another online, and am trying to date it. It is marked 925 on the bottom, with no other marks. I am also assuming it was made and acquired in India, but I could be totally wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
I stumbled on your post. I am no expert like many on here but I do know that 925 refers to the silver content i.e. 92.5% silver 7.5% other metals.
Without a hallmark - sorry no idea - one of the admins should be able to help.
