cheetah pendant 925 mark unknown

Post by luciej04 »

The mark is top center on back of pendant. I have added a drawing of what I think it looks like. I have also been told it looks like a curved arrow.
Thank you, Lucie

Welcome to the forum. This is from the USPTO site: Image

Along with the similiarity to your mark, I thought the mention of "Jaguar" might some how be connected to your piece. The animal in your pendant lacks the facial stripes that I read are found on cheetahs, but I couldn't guarantee that this a jaguar either. Good luck with your research.

I can bearly read the name in image myself, so I expect can't expect most others to do any better. Here's the registrant's information again in a legible form: Owner (REGISTRANT) Fabbrica Di Orologi Sindaco S.A., Orologi "Jaguar" JOINT STOCK COMPANY SWITZERLAND Muralto SWITZERLAND

The amber jewelry like this that I've seen has been fairly recent - if you google for "amber jaguar pendant", you should find at least one in the same silver setting, possibility the retailer might be able to name the manufacturer for you.

I've seen the carved amber pieces sold by Rio Grande.
