I am asking for a friend:
The family of my friend claims possesion of this ring for at least 5 generations. According family tradition, a female family member owned the ring already in the 1890ies or early 1900. They are from Central America and assume the ring origines from there. Unfortunately the ring does not talk, no marking, no manufacturer signs, no marks at all. I am also clueless on the blue stone and the material. It is a very white gold color. Maybe a gold-silver alloy with a high silver content?
I am asking for your expertise on style, make, design and so on. Have you seen similar rings? When and where were such rings made?
