Post by EricMarch »

A family member passed away and this was in their items, I looked on this site and other for the marks but was unable to find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your item was assayed at Chester in 1888, the maker was Frederick Sidney Banks of 41, Northampton Street, Birmingham.

Everything bar the maker could be found at: http://www.925-1000.com/dlChester.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. The Chester office had thousands of manufacturers registered with them, but we only have a few examples shown at the moment. To gain further information is the very reason why we have the Forum.
