Hi all,
I'm a watch collector and someone posted this over at our forum and I think I have figured out the maker but want to confirm with you as its not in the Birmingham Marker's mark list and if correct, feel free to add it.
I believe that the "DSD" markers mark is for David Stewart Dawson before he immigrated to Australia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Stewart_Dawson
can anyone confirm or correct this ?
thanks in advance
Michael.

Re: Maker's Mark DSD
Hi Michael,
Yes you are correct, the mark does belong to David Stewart Dawson and the 1885 date ties in perfectly. You can find the mark listed on Phil's website here:

Cheers,
Steve
