Norway Enamel Heart Pendant

Post by Evensen87 »

Hello,

I inherited this pendent from my grandmother (one of two--one was for her and the other for her sister). I found the hallmark on the jump ring, but much of it has been worn away, unfortunately. My grandmother was born in 1920 and told me her father got this pendant for her from Norway. Her parents were the first generation to come to America from Norway. I believe her remaining relatives in Norway live near Oslo. I photographed both sides of the jump ring. I believe one side says STERLING (I can only really make out the IN) and NORWAY. The other holds more clues as to the maker, but is also very difficult to make out. Please let me know if you'd like me to try and take additional photographs.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Yes, please post some more images. There appears to be a perhaps maker's mark next to the '925'

Thank you very much for replying! I tried taking some more photos. Hopefully, one of these can help with identification:
