Norwegian Cuff Links

Post by sdkai »

Hello,

My father gave these cuff links to me many years ago as a gift and I am hoping to confirm the mark and maybe find out about the store where they were purchased. He would have purchased them in Norway possibly Sweden likely in the early 50's. I finally got a decent enough picture to possibly suggest the mark is David-Andersen. However, the mark is not among images I have seen on line.

Please help me confirm the mark and possible manufacture date range? If possible, a lead on the store identified on the box would be great. It is original and after research, I can only find a single reference to it in an old Frommer's guide to Scandinavia.

Kind Thanks,

Kai

It is David-Andersen and I know your cufflinks very well, and the shop is a wellknown modern design shop in Oslo.

Thank you, Tosten! Fun to close a small mystery and hear the shop is actually still in business. :)
