Georg Jenson?

Post by roseenglish »

I have a beautful full baguette diamond ring with the marks GJL in 18 carat white gold.
Due to the desgn there's not much room for full hallmarking

It doesnt look it was made from casting it looks jand made frrom the interior windows (round circles are irregular)

The design could be any era but the markings and condition say its a very modern piece. I have looked at some of his modern gold rings and they're more mainstream than is Art Nuv pieces so I guess I am hoping.

If its not Jenson then anyone know who GJL is ??

Thank you!

Hi,
I have embedded your image with the marks.
Not Georg Jensen.
It is a set of contemporary British marks, from left to right:
Sponsor`s mark
International convention mark (the scales) used since 1972.
Fineness .750
London assay office (Leopard`s head).
There is no date letter compulsory mark, meaning the ring was made after 1998 when date letter became optional.
