Magnus Aase "NM"?

Post by Dael69 »

Hello,

I found this souvenir spoon with a mark that seems to be for Magnus Aase, Norway. It has the letters "NM" and a number "60" stamped. Im guessing it is a good quality silverplated spoon because it looks great after soft cleaning. I have a question about the number "60", what does it mean?

Hi,

NM = Norsk Mønster = Norwegian design protection.

To understand the '60', see: http://www.925-1000.com/a_platenumbers.html

Thanks a lot. From now on if I see that kind of number I will know the meaning.

Since the "60" is not in a box, should we assume this is not for the gross lot, but rather a full 60 grams for this one item?!!
