MSC Maltby Stevens Curtis Sterling or SP?

Post by PAguilar »

Thank you in advance for information.
I have a pin cushion that is marked on the underside MSC (with winged animal) and underneath is 032. I cannot decipher if the winged animal means it is sterling or if it is silverplate. I read that MSC was in business between 1890 and 1896 so this was before it was required to print 925. I am guessing that this pin cushion is dated between those years. I so can't figure out how to post pictures! Sorry!
