what year is this "S"
and what means W18801
and what GS55/65 and below 01? means?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The date letter table which you show is only valid for sterling items hallmarked at the London Assay Office so the date is not 1893.

You have however correctly deduced that the S is a date letter. Unfortunately it is a private system developed by Mappin & Webb and only used on their electroplate. As far as we know the correspondence between letters and years has never been made public so we are unable to give you a date. As for the other numbers, these are also private designations. It is likely that W18801 is a pattern number; the other numbers may indicate a size - or may be something completely different.
