The Actual Gorham "Casino" Building?

Post by Traintime »

Same pattern #03553 was produced for the Carolina Hotel in 1920. Made by Gorham in 1922. Lid here marked T19 to match base 19 (sequential numbering from the entire order to keep track of components in servicing?). So far, about 20+ locations between 1890-1930's termed the casino or with a full name. Generally, some form of tea room found in parks or coastal tourist spots. Gorham expanded factory employment in WWI, so refurbishing their "Casino" seen right of the factory in photos, would seem possible. Building started as a low level rectangle and a rear expansion gave it a T-shape. Factory has been leveled and lost forever. Early century photo articles have been found and a decorated china seemed to exist. Any clues?
