Help with Netherlands Souvenir Spoon Mark W "Necerk 90" ?

Post by RArmstrong »

Hello - any help with this mark from a Netherlands souvenir spoon (I actually have two spoons with the same mark - one spoon was in a plastic souvenir box with a sticker reading Den Haag (The Hague). Mark appears to start with a "W" with underscore and then stylized letters that look like "NECERK 90". I believe the spoon(s) are 20th Century. I tried searching forums first but haven't been able to find anything similar. Any help appreciated!

Hi, welcome to the forum. Your spoon is silverplated not solid silver. Made/plated by Firm Niekerk. The number 90 is an indication of the thickness of the silverplate.
