Need help identifying object and maker.

I found this today in a box at a thrift store. I can’t fin anything about the marker on it. Can anyone help. I think it’s a soup spoon???

Can someone tell me what kind of spoon this is??? It’s 7inches long and two inches wide.

I think you might have a "seal-top spoon". anything on the "seal" up on the top?? some of these are very early and have been reproduced. i know very little about the subject, hopefully another member will be able to provide some more info
