First, a reference article on BMF markings which suggests c.1891-1927 era for this 4 millimeter circular Art.Krupp Berndorf mark with slighly raised pellet (not the rarer inline pellet): http://www.ascasonline.org/articolofebbra191.html
Photos to follow. Tray of 5 1/4" diameter, 1/2" depth base to rim top. Raised center area of about 1"4 surrounded by channel....perhaps single drink serving tray?
Hotel Germania's abound everywhere, but for "Luzern" in general (city, district, the Lake frontage), there is one in Brunnen close to the Gotthard-Bahn (aka St. Gotthard Railway in this era) railway station (bahnhof) and the steamship docks. I have no full history, but it turns up in travel guides c.1908 and maybe to 1913 before the Continental nightmare began. It is possible that there could be another such named hotel in the city of Luzern (Lucerne) itself.
