Chinese jewelry box

Post by Mcruzzy »

The research that I have done on the characters on the bottom of the box lead me to believe that the right side is translated into 6,7,8.
if that is correct then i do not know what it means. Still have been unable to figure out the mark on the left side. On the under side of the lid the same markings are there as well I think. There are 3 backwards 6's on the under side of the lid. Not sure what this means either. Any information and help would be much appreciated, Thanks

I was trying to and normally do not have an issue with doing so. For some reason it just was not working for me. Sorry

You are nearly there with what you have done so far - just add IMG tags around each link.

Hi,

You appear to have us stumped at the moment. The only thing that I could add, is to me, the decoration appears more Japanese than Chinese.
