Spoon "homag" 90 for Olympic Palace

Post by Traintime »

If this was a German product, then Hotel "Olympic Palace" in Karlovy Vary of (then) Czechoslovakia might be possible. Previously known as spa hotel Germania (1910-), and re-named circa 1918. Some later years under Kommunist Kontrol and (with the German population expelled from the town) named for Karl Marx, followed by a decline until finally restored in recent years. Who made "homag". What Era? Any pattern info.? TIA

I have seen a few pieces like this marked "Homag 90 Pforzheim"

Pforzheim is a town in southwestern Germany. The town had a jewelry and watchmaking industry, which was established in 1767.

I am wondering if the pattern itself is called Homag rather than that being the actual maker.
