A.E. & Co. N.S.

I have a 7 1/2" small serving spoon that I cannot identify. I think it is probably silver plated (the N.S. on the reverse -- nickel silver?). The maker's mark is "A.E. & Co."

Anyone have any ideas?

Possibly silverplate by August Ehlers of Copenhagen, circa 1940s.
