Hi,
Hoping for some assistance in identifying the hallmark on these cufflinks.
(Posted here in the silverplate forum in case these are not sterling.)
There is a single hallmark on the back of each shield and a corresponding hallmark on the torpedo. Possibly owned by one of my grandparents or great grandparents. They also test as non-magnetic, but not sure whether these are silver or silver plate.
Thanks.

Does the mark show us the contours of an isle?

Thanks Peter.
RE: contours of an isle?
Yes, possibly.
Have had another look, and as odd is it seems, could it be a duck? Both hallmarks on the back of the shield have a minute dimple where an eye would be located and a slight step in the neck region. (Still just a guess.)
