Galt & Bro. Sterling Spoon Pattern
Galt & Bro. Sterling Spoon Pattern
Apparently Galt & Bro.(business established in 1802 by James Galt in Alexandria. The firm became M.W. Galt & Bro (1847), M.W. Galt & Bro & Co (1879), Galt & Bro (1892) and Galt & Bro Inc in 1934) did not carry a lot of silverware patterns. I am finding it difficult to identify the floral motif pattern on thesis spoons. Could anyone please help?
Thank you in advance for looking!

I don't know of them being shared, but you will find that when companies were bought their patterns have gone with the new owners and subsequently new issues of those patterns have the current owner's trademark on them.shub33 wrote:I didn't know that silverware patterns were shared. Definitely. Silver polish and a fair amount of elbow grease should take care of that though. Buttercup has been an especially popular pattern. Also the H in the diamond on the back of the bowl is for heavy which means your spoons weigh more than the regular spoons.
