Help with spoon

Post by rob67 »

I am pretty sure this spoon is just a souvenir spoon but it is marked "sterling" and has various other markings. It is approximately 6 inches in length but I cannot really read who made this. The manufacturer may be RM something but it is hard to read. Does anyone have info on this spoon. I know little about collectable silver other than not to clean it unless you know what you are doing. This has what appears to be little to know scratches like someone polished it but I really don't know. Thanks for any help. Rob

It's R Wallace & Sons. Here a link to the listing for their mark on this site: http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_W.html

Thanks for the quick response. I scrolled through the names but I think I missed it when I looked there.
