I bought this mirror for my wife's birthday simply because I think she will really like the style, but now I have become very curious about it. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Hi Geaux,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your images are too small for identification, please post some larger one's.

I haven't been able to find anything else about the mirror online. I'm not really concerned with the value, as I said I bought it for my wife to enjoy, but I would like to be able to tell her a little more about it. Would you say it is late Victorian? And can anyone tell me anything else about it? Any info and/or speculation would be appreciated, lol.

I can't make out the trademark too well, but it might be Webster. Here's a link to them on this site: http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_W2.html

Thanks Silverly, yes it definitely matches the Webster trademark. I haven't been able to find one similar enough online to estimate a date. It does rattle when shaken, which I believe is the resin inside breaking down. Not sure if that would be any help in determining an approximate age.
