Unknown symbols + sterling incricate fork

Post by alexander1868 »

I have found a very intricate fork but haven't been able to match the symbols. It has what appears to be a "B" in a circle, an "S" with an. Line through it in a sideways shield, and what is maybe a "J"? In a circle followed by the word sterling. Any help in identifying this items age is greatly appreciated.
