Help Identifying Pickle fork

Post by Kazmij »

I have been combing through search results to try and identify the hallmark on this pickle fork. I assume American made due to "Pat'd", I could be way off base. I don't believe it is rare I am just currious as to maker and possibly date. Any info would be appreciate

If you put 'Durgin' into the 'search' box (top right hand corner) you will find many posts connected with this maker.

Trev,
Thank you so much. I was looking at it totally upside down, I even photographed like that. I searched all the G and I hallmarks to no avail. Now that you tell me it is a D it is so obvious.
So I have seen it now listed as a lemon fork and the pattern is Fairfax which was first made in 1910.
