I know that they didn’t place date marks on silverware, but my question is twofold.
1. The front is engraved WRC, the back is engraved GAR. Does anyone know if this signifies anything other that the owners initials? GAR did stand for Grand Army of the Republic. Is it related to that?
2. Can the actual time period of this piece be narrowed down from the standard 1900-1940?
Thank you!

Unfortunately, I don’t know how to. Took me awhile just to get the pics posted.dognose wrote:Hi,
