In re Fergus versus Fergus: Souvie spoons.

Post by Traintime »

One from Breadner Manufacturing Company Canada. Seems not a family name piece, but rather a symbol of the one-time "village" of Fergus Ontario which had a significant Scottish population. A thistle does appear in more recent era location signage, so maybe it was long considered the neighborhood identifier? Every hamlet has a story in Sterling. Maybe 1920's-30's? (Makers marks appear on both spoon and emblem.)
