Sterling Silver Spoon T. McKinney

Post by cinderella »

Any idea as to the symbols and the name T. McKinney, on this spoon? Marked Sterling. Marks are very hard to see. The first one looks like a clover??? The front is engraved with the owners name and the date 1910. ImageImage[/img]

Hi Cinderella,

T. McKinney is likely the name of the retailer of the spoon. The maker's trademark is the symbol to the left of the "sterling" mark. Unfortunately, it is too small to make out. Can you add a close-up of it or at least a verbal description.

Regards, Tom
